This Cooper's Hawk is our resident bird of prey. He was here in our maple this morning, but was unsuccessful in his attempt to catch a bird at our feeders.

Bird bait is right. I always know when the hawk is in the area, the little birds hide sometimes for hours before they come back to the feeders.
Der Vogel sass in unserem Ahorn, war aber nach einer Minute wieder weg, denn sein Platz war schlecht gewaehlt, die kleinen Voegel konnten ihn gut sehen.
Russisch war da einfach, wenn man erstmal die Buchstaben intus hatte. Aber davon ist in meinem Kopf noch weniger geblieben.
