Tanja - Loughcrew club has addedDoerthe club has replied to Tanja - Loughcrew clubIch glaube nicht, dass diese Blumen bei euch wachsen, vielleicht ja die hochgezuechteten. Hier sind sie besonders wichtig in der Natur, weil die Monarchenfalter ihre Eier an der Unterseite der Blaetter ablegen und wenn die Eier ausschluepfen, fressen sie Raupen die Blaetter und wandern zum Verpuppen dann ab. Seit ein paar Jahren wird in Michigan so viel Ried gespritzt (das so sehr wuchert, dass es viele Entenarten vertrieben hat), und dadurch wurden auch diese Blumen mit vergiftet und somit sind die Monarchen nur noch sehr selten hier zu finden.
