I don't know about you, but seeing a duck perched up a tree always seems odd to me (even though I know it's perfectly natural). :-)))

Thanks, Keith. This bird and its mate arrived while I was sitting on a log beside the pond, so I knew where they were. They are called wood ducks because they like perching in trees.
