Walking on the pond

Walking on the pond
This is the first time Branco has walked on ice. He could have walked far onto the pond, but it was too strange. -11℃ this morning, but by mid-afternoon, half the pond was ice-free.

Yes, it is new for Branco. Some years ago, the ice was thick enough that I could walk all the way across the pond.

He was less than two months old when Garip announced his arrival. My neighbor said there had been a sibling with him the day before. He has always had a wonderful, friendly personality.
