This week's challenge: 'Do something interesting with Light Bulbs'.
Well - it is coming up for Christmas after all ........

The lights were changing colours in an uncoordinated way, and some of the combinations were amazing. I like the 'Aurora Borealis' one best, but Adrian chose this one as he is in it holding hands with James. ;-)

Saturday 16 Dec. 2017 'Letters of the Alphabet'.
These are old print blocks which I picked up years ago in order to give to my daughters, Amelia, Victoria and Elizabeth. The 'Es' were easy to find, as were the 'As'. The only 'V' I had has been given away. These print letters are the only ones I have left.

TSC:Trucks
You can use the whole truck or parts of the truck.
Have the truck (or the part or section of the truck you are using) fill the frame.
For those who wish to use the following twist for more of a challenge.
Find a red or green truck to photograph if you can (it is the Christmas Season you know.
This is the best I could do for this week's challenge. For the last 3 days, most trucks, except for tractors with snow ploughs fitted, have not been through our village,

Your topic for this challenge will be intentional camera movement (ICM). Created by zooming out for 0.6 of a second. I think it might have been better to use a tripod and taken in the garden furniture 2 months ago! The first PiP is taken using a downward movement, the second is another 'explosion' photo of our Christmas tree, which has been put up early because we have house guests this weekend.

Attingham Park is an English country house and estate in Shropshire. Located near the village of Atcham, on the B4380 Shrewsbury to Wellington road. It is owned by the National Trust. It is a Grade I listed building.
Attingham Hall was built in 1785 for Noel Hill, 1st Baron Berwick who commissioned the architect George Steuart to design a new and grander house to be built around his original home. The new country house encompassed the old property entirely, and once completed it was given the name Attingham Hall.

The camera lens was not being sand-blasted looking in this direction neither were our faces. Such a relief.

This goose, probably a domestic greylag, seemed very out of place on this windy shore. The strong southeasterly wind ruffled his feathers, and he was very reluctant to fly off. We could see him from 250 metres away, and even when I got up close he didn't move away. We continued along the beach for about another mile and then walked back, by which time he had decided he'd had enough and had flown away safely I hope.
