Saturday Self Challenge: For this challenge the theme is anything red.

This is part of a slow cook-pot. The abstract shapes on the pot come from various reflections of the kitchen window. The on-off switch is on the bottom right corner so the word 'off' is written on the pot. No-one seems to have understood the literary allusion here. I wonder if anyone will be able to tell me.
