Nothing quite like barge decorations x

They are lovely. Many years ago we had a bargeware shop in Wincanton. Needless to say that without a canal, it did not last very long. The lady who did all the painting also painted the designs on our bridge over the River Cale, but that eventually faded and is now back to black again!

Looks like if it is on an old boat, shipping through old channels, right?

My friends father used to paint the barges on The Kennett and Avon Canal

These are very pretty, the roses remind me a bit of tradional painted Norwegian furniture:-)
