[EN] In between two (big) waves of Flickr friends joining us as we speak, we would like to submit to you our project of color personalization of your pages. The idea would be to offer in a totally optional way of course themes to color certain graphic elements of your pages while maintaining sobriety and harmony between each other's pages. [FR] Entre 2 (énormes) vagues d'amis Flickr qui nous rejoignent d'heure en heure, nous souhaiterions vous soumettre notre projet de personnalisation couleur de vos pages. L'idée serait de proposer - de façon optionnelle bien sûr - des thèmes pour colorer certains éléments graphiques de vos pages, tout en conservant sobriété et harmonie entre les espaces de chacun. I like the idea of choice. I personally prefer the white background, but others may like black instead. Is there a way to allow the members to choose their preferences which includes this feature? Thank you so much for warmly welcoming all of us new members into the fold :-)

Dispite of this color discussion: I have some wishes with the new start page:

Customisatzion of the banner pics (Latest photos). Chosing for this (mandatory) banner contents between "latest photos", "latest discussed", "latest liked the most" or a speficic album.

For the album: Chosing between latest album or a specific album, or those with are faved by myself in random.

And: If I can have a layout wish: This member pic: Why it is framed in different size? For my eyes the witdth have to be aligned with the contacts frame size. And: Why this pic has a whiteframe?

And again: Please consider the discussion management. Its still to hard to find and follow threaded discussions and clicking from page to page is really hard work.

Thank you IIjuschin for your suggestions. They are all in our todo list :) The current problem is to manage the huge amount of flickr friends and mass uploads...

Yea, I am patient as you are used to know that I am ;-) very content to see that those who flee or set up a alternate account are used to pay for a service! And: you see how important is is to communicate changes...

That we can "Personnalise" by adding our own "Banner" is excellent, to make our pages more personal it would be nice if we could change the general background colour, Black has been suggested by several users, this could perhaps be suplemented by a choice of Pastel shades, and would only require the addition of a colour selector as we had in the old Beta version, but active for the entire layout, not the seperate sections as it was then.

il serait bien de :
pouvoir supprimer l’icône du nom si nous avons un bandeau personnel !
d'assortir les couleurs des divers bandeau-titre (une couleur pour tout !!) car le livre d'or risque de na pas être en accord avec les autres éléments!
et pourquoi avoir limité la hauteur du bandeau si petite..? l'idéal serait de faire 250 !

Change can always be good as long as it is optional. I feel that this would be a very bad time to implement any overhauls to how the site looks & feels. We flickr refugees are just getting aquainted with your marvellous site and we would not want to be hit over the head with a brick again anytime soon.

Je regretterai toujours la page d'accueil personnelle de chaque membre qui était le propre d'ipernity... et qui nous avait donné tant de travail et plaisir.
J'attends avec impatience l'option couleurs dont vous nous avez parlé et proposé, ce fond blanc est difficile pour mes yeux, regarder les photos sur du gris m'irait mieux.
Où en est ce projet?

Having just arrived and having picked this site because of how it looks, I'd most likely stay with current colour scheme.

However, having the option to change may be welcome in the long term as long as it is only minor. I'd be disappointed if you didn't take steps to protect the integrity of the overall design and layout.

Lovely that you actually flag ideas up here and seek feedback rather than just making wholesale changes overnight and then turning a deaf ear to any complaints.
