[EN] Hello to you all,
The ipernity team presents to you all our very best wishes for the new year!
Since the announcement of ipernity’s shutdown, we received many proposals and messages of support either from users and businesses.
With the help of several community members, especially Claus-Peter, Paul (autofantasia), Eric Desjours, and, William Sutherland, the idea that ipernity could be managed by the community has made its way and seems to be the most realistic solution.
We have postponed the date of closing to late February to allow us more time to study this perspective.
We will publish in the very next days a new article with accurate informations about it.
In the meantime, we invite you to join the following groups to participate in the ongoing discussions:

We would like once again to thank you for the support you have shown us for so many years.
See you soon,
Christophe & the Team.

Looking Good Folks ...
Please remember that this has nothing to do with monies already paid to Ipernity SA for subscriptions. This is to keep the site alive for a few more months until the takeover by the community can be finalised.
We have less than 2 weeks to reach our target or, according to what I've been told, the site will most certainly close. So if you want ipernity to still be here next month please support the crowdfunding campaign.
www.ipernity.com/group/2260604/discuss/186760
I have been informed that some people mistakenly think there is plenty of time and ignore the real urgency of the situation. They think because their subscription runs until late 2017 or even into 2018 Ipernity will not shut down. This is not true!
The crowdfunding campaign is separate and independent of peoples' subscription payment to Ipernity S.A. and meant to erase a significant shortfall and buy time for the transfer of ownership to IMA. If the goal is not met, Ipernity WILL shutdown at the end of the month. It will be deemed financially unviable to continue. Therefore it is critical that everyone who wants Ipernity to continue participate in the crowdfunding.
Thank you to all who have already contributed and thank you in advance to those who will to save this great site.

Hi Paul
I have written to William in support of your above idea of contacting members who completed the survey by email.
Hi William
To Maximize the contributions to crowdfunding
I there any chance you could contact the members in the survey who pledged contribution to crowdfunding by email to ensure that as many members know the situation as it stands As I have said so many times not all folks blog but most do check their emails.
Regards Tess.

To William and Team regarding the above comment.
Just got this message in my inbox So it looks like IP are contacting members re crowdfunding which should push things along as regards as many members that can be reached know what's going on.
I again take this opportunity to say all your efforts and your team are much appreciated to save our favorite site.
Hugs to all Tess.

Dear Tess Mc Kenna,
After the tremendous support you showed in the survey, IMA has been founded with the objective to help and takeover ipernity.
Now, IMA has launched a crowdfunding campaign necessary to support ipernity and bought time to develop a fully developed project of takeover.
We will be grateful if you participate in the crowdfunding :

The timing is critical, ipernity may not be working after the end of March if the crowdfunding isn't completed.
Thank you for any participation you are willing to do.
Sincerely,
Ipernity team

Hello,
I'm sad to announce that we have a possible fraud artist in the donation of IMA crowdfunding for ipernity.
It means that rather than almost 21k, we are at almost 18k which is still a great number in such a few day.
IMA contacted Indigogo (who owns Generosity) to investigated the question.
It doesn't mean that giving through Generosity isn't safe, simply that somebody stole credit card numbers somewhere and are using it to make donation for odd reasons.
Please continue to participate, donate or spread the information.
We'll post something in the team blog once the thing will be sorted out.
Thank you,
Audrey
Thank you! Your message has been sent.
I have another question...
The support team has not answered your message yet.

Hi Team
Can you confirm that at this time all members have had an email to alert them regarding the Crowdfunding. In my opinion this is vital to push along the level of donations and allow the IMA to succeed financially
