Another year almost ended and the optimism of looking forwards to a new one.
Reflections on 2014.
On a personal level as that's all that effect's me are that is was a good year. I managed a visit to see Jenny, the family are doing OK and we had pretty much a storm free year for a change. I had a couple of issues with smashing my ankle and the continuing deterioration of my back but I can handle that.
Things to look forward to with hope in the new year.
I new member of the family if Gemma's pregnancy is a success, another visit to see Jenny with any luck and I storm free year, not very big hopes in the grand scheme of things but they all help life pass more pleasantly. I gave up all hope of a wish for world peace years ago,why wish for the impossible?
I hope the new year treats you all well, My toast tonight will be the same as always. “To absent friends and loved ones” Take care people

Yes, no point wishing for the impossible is there? Individually, I like people, but en masse? That's a different matter...
I always look forward to the New Year too and am always hopeful of a better one even if only on a small scale.
Have a Happy New Year Mick.
