Since the last dry spell when I got ln top of the garden things jhave got weird.
We hd a few days of sunshine and showers before we had a big change
Out of the blue we had 3 days with temps around 30c and very high humidity.
It was too much for some folk but I enjoyed being outside although indoors was a lttle too much. The next day the temps were down to 26c with low humidity which felt a lot fresher, after that we we back to sunshine and showers until the next main event.
Storm Ellen rolled in overnight and battered us with gale force winds and a high tide.
Places on low ground on the iisland flooded and the animal refuge at trhe south of the island is cut off.
Things have calmed down now but strong winds are due to hang about for a few days

Back when I was a student, Meteorology and Climatology were part of my course.
I suppose that you could describe climate as the "average" of the weather, but on that basis, we do not have a climate in the UK, just changeable weather.
