My new door bell arrived this morning so no more sleigh bells ringing in my ears. I searched through the 32 sounds for a dog,by the time I got to the end of the play-list I was rapidly losing the will to live. Inane tunes one after another had buffeted my poor ears. In the end no dog,the nearest was a bird of indeterminate species squawking away so I settled for that,I just hope he settles in and doesn't make a mess.

You know when something simple gives you pleasure? well today it was scrambled eggs that did it for me.3 fresh free range eggs,a little milk,a knob of butter,lashings of white pepper and 40 seconds in the microwave served on toasted Danish malted bread washed down with strong coffee made a simple lunch that really hit the spot lovely stuff.

Today is No 7 in the photo fun project the subject is Pet. I take it by this Summer means A pet as opposed to touchy feely stuff.
Hoping this is the case here is a photo of the delightful Barmy,the last pet I had. He was a free flying bird who lived up to his name and gave me hours of pleasure,I miss the little fella still after all this time. The video blog mentioned on the photo is here if you want a look.Click here
