Yesterday and today have dispelled all hope of a longer dry spell with icy cold rain and a big drop in temps
I snapped a couple of shots of Hedgy last night. They were taken from above as the last thing he needs when foraging for food is some wassock firing a flash into his eyes

Yes Mickey, the weather has decided it is time to cool of before hibernating so we too over here have passing clouds, early morning mist, night temps of 5 C and sometimes pretty sunsets.

He is cute.. Thanks for the picture Mick.. Yes the Joaquin storm that was off our coast is headed in your direction. I imagine you will have quite a bit of rain from that.. Sorry.. It should have just petered out.. Until I knew you guys I didn't know our weather systems could head toward you afterwards..

Hard to tell in a photo, but he looks quite large. Hope he enjoys your garden and has a good hiberntion. Wish I could hibernate, getting pretty cold here and lots of rain.
