Today dawned beautifully sunny and that encouraged me to open the back door to get some fresh air in at last. Then I looked up the driveway from the kitchen and this is what greeted me.....

Now that's a sight for sore eyes isn't it? You'll notice that in amongst the trunks of the lilac trees there are bluebells growing in there too..... it makes it look as if I have my very own woodland - I have one down the other garden, but that's because it's overgrown!!!!

You can see they're starting to grow higher than the the rest .....

They are also starting to stretch outwards more than usual - maybe because there aren't cars going up and down the driveway....

You can see how far they've encroached onto the driveway - and I am delighted!!!!

Yesterday Fran (BeeOrchid) wrote about day dreaming about a home she'd love to live in. This got me to dream too and this is the view I dream of looking at every day....

Can you just imagine waking up to a view like this. This view faces west, so this is where the sunsets are!!!! Oh bliss. I could just about afford to get a house near here and it would be big enough for my daughter and her husband, so I'll have a live-in carer (when I need one) - Oh I can dream can't I?

I hope I can take more photos like these when I go to Turkey (by the way these ones of Turkey are not ones I've taken) they are, however, places I know where there are houses I could buy!!! All I ask when I next buy a house - because let's face it, at my age, it'll be the last one I'll buy - is that it has a view. I am going to buy a property that's exactly what I want. I've always lived in houses that either had been chose by my parents, or ones where I had to consider how close the schools were, or whether on a bus route and close to shops etc. Now I'll just buy something I've always wanted. A home with a view of the sea, somewhere warm and where each day would be like a holiday.

Hey a girl can dream can't she?
