Well folks, at long last I have arranged to go and visit my daughter in Turkey - it's over 2 years since I last went there and I do miss it I must admit. So far (fingers crossed and anything else pliant enough to be crossed!!!!) I haven't visited the hospital which has kept me away from Turkey.

Mandi is coming here for two weeks from the 2nd to the 15th of May, and we'll go back together and I'm staying there for 5 weeks, so plenty of time to take loads of pictures. She is taking me to all new places which I'm so excited about and we are hoping to fit in a day's trip to Kos in Greece - take the car and then we can explore that island too. It will be a tad on the hot side which I hope I'll be able to cope with, but at least we'll be able to swim every day if we wish and then sit outside in the evenings and just people watch. I do like doing that - we make up all sorts of stories of who they are and what they're called, and what they've been doing!!! I just hope they don't hear us!!!

While Mandi is here, we're going to go and visit Tony and the kids, as Mandi has only seen them once in person - several times via Skype, but it's not the same. So I'll be able to take pictures of my family altogether - just Dogan missing which is a shame - I just wish he could come here, but he works all the hours he can during the summer season and just has a month off during the winter. So he's going to have to try and get here next winter, it'll be great to show him our home and Mandi wants to show him off to her family and friends.

Okay - this was just a quickie really - I'm just so excited that bookings have been made and dates fixed. I've arranged it with my neighbours to come in and feed Pippin - it'll be nice warm weather for him so it's not as bad as me going in winter. If Turkey is keeping its usual temperatures for May/June - it'll be in the low 30'sC which is plenty hot enough for me!!!

These are some of the gorgeous views I'm hoping to see very soon!!...

Sorry I've rambled on but I'm so excited!!!! Hope you've all had a wonderful weekend.
