Our Gracie is in hospital!!!

I've just had a message from Gracie who says she's been hospitalized for at least a week as she's had to lose two pieces of her intestines!!!

So please join me and wish her a very speedy recovery and as little pain and discomfort as possible.

What with John (Stormlizard) being in hospital too in Denmark, what is going on with our group eh? Please look after yourselves and try not to end up sleeping in a hospital bed!!!

TAKE CARE OF YOURSELVES GRACIE AND JOHN AND COME BACK TO US WHEN YOU GET BACK HOME ALL CURED. WE LOVE YOU XXXX

Oh I am so pleased that they've let you loose for a few days - I'm sure being home does help speed up recovery. I do hope you don't have visits from the Attendo bunch nor the other "helpers"(?). Please look after yourself and take care. Keep us informed when you have to go back in and how long you expect to be there.

I had no idea that John had gone home for a few days til I read this. As for Gracie - I only knew about this when she sent me a quick message. I do hope they both get better soon too - I know only too well what it's like being in hospital at our time of life and it's no fun is it?

Oh merci Pat. Quand on considère l’alternative, être malade n’est pas aussi grave que vous le pensez !!!! Je sais, au fur et à mesure que nous vieillissons, que nous devons considérer que les choses ne se comportent pas toujours comme avant, mais nous devons ensuite trouver d’autres moyens de faire les choses Je leur transmettrai certainement vos meilleurs voeux.

Yes it does take longer for things to get back to normal, the older you get. You're just a spring chicken sweetie, don't you worry - you'll soon be on the back of Rick's bike and be roaring around the country!!!
