Just had a phone call from Fred the Shed and he has said that he's coming tomorrow with his wife and they are going to sort out my top lawn flower bed.

Now originally this flower bed was full of nasturtiums, mombretia and had a rosemary bush. It was just a smallish flower bed which sort of curved. Over the past few years when I haven't been able to get at it and sort it out, it's sort of taken over.............

I think someone has been visiting my garden at night and putting down "super-grow" on my weeds, cos it's come from a smallish tidy garden to the monster on the left here..............

This top lawn is getting rather overgrown

I hope that he'll leave some of the mombretia, because they make such a beautiful colour display , but I can forego that to have a tidy top flower bed instead!!!!!!!!

The only good thing I do have in here is my lovely tiny rambling rose..........

Going to keep the small rambling roses

Fred has said that he'll trim it back so it'll ramble around the window making a lovely show next summer! Hopefully we will have a summer next year!!!!!!!!!!

They are rather sweet though aren't they?

See it is a lovely rose and well worth keeping.

So with a bit of luck my hedges and the overgrowth in that bed will be a thing of the past after tomorrow!!! Will take photos if it looks better!!!!
