In front is the entrance to the lower station of the Kiev funicular. On the right is the Riviera Hotel. In the background, at the top of the hill, is the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. The line of the Kyiv Funicular consists of only two stations that connecting the historic Uppertown, and the lower commercial neighborhood of Podil through the steep Volodymyrska Hill overseeing the Dnieper River.
