Checked the archives and found this. We have been shopping at the Farmers Market during our Fall visits to the Asheville area of Western NC for about 35 years. This stand belongs to the Coates family and this is where we make all of our purchases. The Farmers Market is a must see if you are visiting the Asheville area. The assortment of fresh fruits, especially NC apples right off the tree, vegetables, cheeses, baked items, etc., is amazing! I can't wait for October so we will be there to enjoy the gorgeous weather, beautiful colors, and lovely people!! Thank you all for visiting and for your gracious and appreciated comments! The Lark is a gem of a restaurant surrounded by wine tasting establishments in the middle of the Funk Zone in downtown Santa Barbara. Lugano, Gandria, Switzerland The owner of Ristorante Antico in Gandria treated us to the bruschetta, which was so delicious! The little ceramic "mug" is locally made at Gres studio. It is used to drink the local white Merlot and, yes, it is white Merlot. It took a little practice before we mastered the art of drinking the wine without wearing it! Agrippa was our favorite restaurant in the part of Rome where we stayed. This day, we had been to the Vatican for what we thought would be a private tour. Unfortunately, so did 30,000 other people. What should have been an extraordinary experience was overshadowed by pushing and shoving with no regard by the hoards for where we were! Two men got into a shoving fist fight and guards had to break them apart!! Good grief, we were in the Vatican!! It was an incredible experience of art, history, and our church. But, by the time, we entered St. Peters, it took some time to remind myself to pray ... With the stress behind, we headed directly to Agrippa for Aperol spritz, bruschetta, pino grigio, gnocci with muscles, claims and prawns, and fettucini with lobster. La Sagrestia is located on the Via del Seminario, which is very close to the Pantheon. It is known as having the best pizza in that part of Rome. Our hotel was located in the Piazza della Rotunda and, fortunate for us, within easy walking distance.
