The disused railway station(with a fence) at Quorn in South Australia. Once one of the busiest outback stations in Australia, on the line running north into Central Australia. Now unused.

Medney Island. Commander Islands, Kamchatka, Russia. This is a now uninhabited island in the Bering Sea...this town was demolished and abandoned, with the population relocated to the bigger Bering Island. The ruins are eerily silent.

For 90 years Gwalia was a goldmining town. The mine closed in the 1960's and people just abandoned it. Now it sits quietly disintegrating in the middle of the West Australian desert, near Leonora.
