only the the tower and spire by william paty of 1786-90 front onto the street, spoiled by over-egged doorway added by henry williams in 1883. the clock jacks were on holiday when I visited.

james bridges designed the body of the church in 1762, thomas paty completed it with a new tower 1763-9. after being gutted in the war, the city rebuilt the interior as a church museum, now sadly closed though some items seem to remain immured within, and a horrible glazed porch sticks out of the tower.

three bays of the north aisle front onto corn st., rebuilt in 1782 by george paty in neo-perp gothick. the n.e. tower was rebuilt in 1712-17, begun by thomas sumsion, completed by townesend and paul, the little top dome replaced by luke henwood in 1807
