Forest is never far in Finland. Only two kilometers from the home one can experience the tranquility of tall trees.

Picture taken in 2012 For '10-Week Picture Projects: Trees', I picked this one to represent forest. I first had great difficulties to choose what kind of trees would form my favorite forest, but then I realized it is of course pines that are closest to my heart. I love their smell and the light filtered through their canopy.
