Lesson learned on information seeking. If one wish to discover a good selection of images on certain topic, then there are number of things to consider.
Search for recent images on topic "cat" will give a lot of "noise":
[EN] www.ipernity.com/search/photo?opt=1&q=cat&w=0&t=0&lic=&s=2
Somewhat the same on any language chosen:
[NL&DE] www.ipernity.com/search/photo?opt=1&q=kat&w=0&t=0&lic=&s=2
[FR] www.ipernity.com/search/photo?opt=1&q=chat&w=0&t=0&lic=&s=2
However, there is an option to limit the search on keywords (if used):
[EN] www.ipernity.com/search/photo?opt=1&q=cat&w=0&t=0&lic=&s=2&m=1
[NL&DE] www.ipernity.com/search/photo?opt=1&q=kat&w=0&t=0&lic=&s=2&m=1
[FR] www.ipernity.com/search/photo?opt=1&q=chat&w=0&t=0&lic=&s=2&m=1
That is somewhat the same as to access certain keywords directly:
[EN] www.ipernity.com/explore/keyword/10560?s=2
[NL&DE] www.ipernity.com/explore/keyword/10560?s=2
[FR] www.ipernity.com/explore/keyword/10011?s=2
Search on keywords is however maybe better, because it should then cover plurals and compound words.
But what one should not overlook is the power of groups. People gathering together to collect images on certain topics can be the best way to find images on that topic. And it then is free from limitations of language searches:
▶️ Groups where "cat" appears on the title or description
So, a group can be seen as an alternative for keywords. People then describe the content according to group topic, free from language barriers!

The Catfish Pirates from the less developed Tor had no choice but to continue their unethical line of business. Either they would hack Trackball Mouse's Bluetooth connection and social media account, or Trackball Mouse would hover them and drag them to the trash bin.

Ode to all crazy things one can do with reusable plastic bags. However, don't try that at home! Try switch to cotton reusable bags instead to avoid polluting our water sources with micro plastic ;-)
