These guys sang and played the guitar from the time I walked in (around 6pm) until around midnight...and then strapped on hiker's headlights and walked back down to town.

With it raining outside, there was nothing for the guests to do but gather in the dining room and sing. And drink vodkas. Lots and lots of vodkas, in both quantity and kind -- it seemed that every nationality present had brought its own local variety to share.

So, I hike two hours in the rain, with a fifty-pound backpack, finally get to the hut...and then discover I have to climb a tiny ladder through a tiny hole in the cieling to a dorm room in the attic.
