A bold statement of Judenhass , or an appallingly ignorant fashion choice? It was hard to tell, but we saw these damned rags everywhere in Poland and Prague.

A common sight in Zakopane (as in Krakow): racks of Palestinian kaffiyeh look-alikes for sale on the street. Hard to claim they're trendy fashion accessories that innocently just happen to coincidentally look like the Palestinian symbol of intifada and Jew-hatred, when the things are labeled "arafatki".
