Running round trains at Tenterden involves shutting the level crossing immediately behind 32678. Just as well there are only five trains each way per day, at the height of the season, but each turn around involves three closures - one as the train arrives - a second, as here, when its engine runs around the train - and finally when the train leaves for stations to Bodiam.

A cropped down long shot, really just to show the token exchange.

I am sure that I have seen a print of this image, but I don't seem to have scanned and uploaded it.

A small group of small twin prints - image size 5.7cm x 3.8cm - of the Bluebell Railway. They are not in the format that John Sutters would have used himself and they are in colour. It could have been that he went to the Bluebell on 24.8.1963 with someone who sent him some of his 'Bonusprint' extras. Bonusprint's sales pitch, in those days, was to 'give' you two extra small prints with your standard size prints, to share with friends.

Stepney was the only Terrier at The Bluebell at that time. I don't have the exact locations recorded in Dad's album, so all the photos are shown at Horsted Keynes. If you know the correct locations, please use the relevant comments boxes. Thanks
