no, not stormy night .. but, fireworks were going off in three different directions .. how the sky showed this black .. no idea .. many fireworks had already been set off creating a fog-like back-drop .. this is my interpretation of what I saw .. not a camera toss ! this is my Flying 4th - 2011 ~ © All rights reserved Archive Airings - AA-259 - LIGHT OR DARK

the striped covering envelops the entire house .. 'Tenting' for termites (usually in Florida, USA).. only dry wood ones, not subterranean kind .. all living things must be removed from the house for 12-24 hours ... this is a bad pun, but 'knock on wood', we've never had that ! feel for the people who live here.. night drive by .. with a color swap - causing a bit of purple from the street light .. ©SD All Rights Reserved

people... lots of them .. get the vending cart prepared .. streets being closed off .. bands in restaurants .. some on stages in the streets .. fireworks ( I can hear them now!) .. All Rights Reserved

they are sitting admiring the glow of the lights .. just finished eating at Harry's Seafood Bar & Grille and are too stuffed to move any further .. really ahead of the New Year's Eve gala ... who knows what they are telling each other .. are they listening .. know what .... weather is getting cooler here.. in Florida USA ... we are in for one of our weeks of Winter (we have 2 weeks in January).. last night was warm and I sat in the grass to take photos of the Blue Moon .. tonight, my bare feet were cold ! you are correct ... cold and I are not exactly friends .. that is why I live where it doesn't snow .. and I don't need a Winter coat ! of all the shots tonight, think this one with the Camphor tree leaves is my favorite..
