elegant entry to the theater .. Busch Gardens in Tampa, Florida... was a show so colorful.. not only in costuming, but also, in the variety of music.. instruments used.. the set was awesome (it moved) .. there were people (actors) in the branches of the trees... of such a visual & audio delight ! © All rights reserved

needed a 'motion-blur' for the weekly assignment in Digital Photography School (DPS) - rehearsal of the Tin Can Gypzee, ATS bellydancers was perfect - one problem - which photo to choose! these gypsy skirts are about from 25 to 35yards at the hem, so when they are swirled, a lot of colorful fabrics fly with the rhythms - taken at MariJahne's Monday class - Visitors Center at the Planteen, Plant City, FL Thank you Gypzees! © All rights reserved (unusual angle? As low as I could get on the floor and not have one of those skirts hit the lens!

finding a new home to dance & to drum .. the quote from Mickey Hart seemed to fit oh so well .. the Tin Can Gypzee tribal dancers in a swirl of color.. such talented dancers, they can play some 'mean' rhythms on their drums .. many thanks to the UUC for providing indoor, A/C space for our passions to flourish .. the 3rd Saturday of the month, we (The Circle of Rhythm Drum Gathering) shall be there .. so .. if you are in Central Florida, USA around that time.. Flickr mail me .. will send directions .. we always have extra percussion instruments to share .. it was a wonderful night of dancing, drumming, sharing the lead on drumming, following different patterns, having a cup of coffee or some cold water, cookies and brownies .. but, most of all - sharing a deep friendship & welcoming new souls ..
