the winds did blow .. heat lightening show in the distance .. but, only a few drops of rain fell .. but, not too far away, winds blew - snapping power line poles and causing havoc to those who ended up with no A/C - not good, here! even a friend (though her home was protected by surge protectors) had problems .. the waterbird, on the right, seems to be headed in the direction of his own bench... wonder if the folks who put the bench there to watch the sun set, know that it really is for a white two-legged creature ? ©SD All Rights Reserved

found this driving through a local cemetary.. it is a beautiful idea.. both these officers gave the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.. it is fitting this be dedicated to them.. .. there are numerous tributes to these officers on YouTube, but the most heart-rending one is called. ."
