Chauteau Laurinda is located in Sparta, NC. It is a family owned/run winery. All fruit is either grown by them or by other areas in NC.. only one exception I know of..the fruit for Mango wine... the Mangos come from Florida! The large wrap-around porch has rocking chairs, tables and is used for wine tasting events, I am told. Very friendly souls.. who also have re-furbished an old farm house into a Bed & Breakfast. This is off the beaten path.. have no idea how SKB found it! Each tme we visit the mountains, a trip to the winery is a must ! © All rights reserved 3/12/14 - Now that we live much closer, I think visits might be more frequent ( am getting low on the Mango wine )
