film shots of my favorite ride..
1983 Datsun 280ZX Turbo...
with T- tops..
she had a very strong engine..
yearly physical by my man, Bill...
he was right on the money..
knew her inside out and front to back...
I was her 3rd owner..
she got a paint job that glowed (Larry said, "if I find out you run this through a car wash, I'll be on your door-step")..
he's one of those guys (like Bill), who take great pride in their work..
Larry took her down to the metal..
took her wheels over to Tampa to had them re-done..
then, she got her interior fixed up..
loved this car..
my Fair Lady Z..
but, most good things do come to an end..
had a crash with an antique BMW motorcycle (with a side car)..
the bike moved my Z so hard it bent the frame...
ah, but she and I had a good time !
these film photos were taken after her paint job and wheels were done..
if I'd had a digital camera, there would be many more !

created our choreography..
rehearsed.. rehearsed... and then rehearsed..
tried it out on small groups first..
then..
did it for, what we considered, The place..
Festival on the Nile in Orlando FL..
scared...
my dance partner was..
just wanted to get it over & return the borrowed red skirt..
our circle veils cover much of the backdrop..
red and gold with white veils..
music...
Ravel's Bolero & La Bamba..
my husband put the music together so seamlessly, that it sounded like it was supposed to be like that !
Ah... back in the day...

.. more years ago than I care to remember, our dance group was invited by a radio station, putting on a benefit, to be the entertainment when the bands changed onstage and did all the set up needed.
No problem..
This was when we weren't needed, so the gent in the chair (drink is in front of him), figured it was a good time for some beverages. He had so many, he passed out in the chair!
Now, really.. was I supposed to pass up such an opportunity?
Hurried into the RV (on the left) and got as many scarves, veils, glitzy stuff as I could find! Decorated him ..or did I ever decorate him!
Don't have a photo of when he awoke.. yeah, did that too.. but the look on his face; trying to figure out how all those dance-related items got on him.....
Yes, I can drag out a story...not just here, but had the poor guy thinking he had gotten into our stash of veils, .. while "under the influence!"
He didn't have another drink the rest of the day! He said that if he had done all that and couldn't remember it, he wasn't touching the stuff again!
We never told him how it happened, either!

35mm Vivitar photo..
took with Canon A630..
gentle, not serious as he seems, feline..
named.. Gregory..
he came with that name and since he was happy with it, so were we...
we rescued him..
a lady brought him into the vet's office where I helped out..
wanted the vet to "put him to sleep"..
the vet examined Gregory, since he seemed healthy..
"Oh, my daughter is allergic to his fur, so put him to sleep"... said the lady when the vet asked what was wrong with the cat..
Gregory came home with me that evening..
he lived in Florida, holding his own with 2 cats already in residence..
he loved to sleep on top of the refrigerator..
or make another cat move off the record player (where this was taken)..
he was a head-bumper !
