In a new apartment re-purposed from Oneida Cotton Mill .. Taken from across the street .. Haze gives a mysterious look to a regular ceiling fan .. So many things are going on .. Inside and out .. Workers are up on lifts .. Making touches to the exterior .. Workers inside have lights on .. In back, the widows were raised .. Letting a breeze in from the courtyard .. . Welcome Home to all .. ..making something old into something new ..instead of building new apartments ..Oneida Cotton Mills is being saved ..old bricks and any other materials still useful ..will find a new life here 100+ years old, the structure is being re-purposed into 134 apartments - The Album ReHab of Oneida Cotton Mills shows photos from 2013 - Before it was purchased for this new life - That which was abandoned can find a new life - After jumping through all the red tape / rules an regulations - to have this classified an Historic Building * 1 note in upper Left corner of each section * 2016 Update 28 July .. © All Rights Reserved

Oneida Mills re-furbishing continues .. The main photo was taken in 2013 -- before permits had been pulled and before this 100+ yr Mill met the rules for a ' Historic building. Being designated an Historic building took until 2015 December .... There are 3 notes across the top .. Left is 2016 April .. Center is 2016 July - showing quite a difference when compared to the original photo. Right is 2016 July - a bit of the inside as it is being developed. We have had so much rain, that there will probably be much interior work .... North Carolina clay would be very difficult to get equipment in for any deliveries .. This is the Update promised .... this is the longest building (with the Tower on the right) on Harden St. © All Rights Reserved
