These moths fly during the day and hover at flowers while sipping nectar. There are 3 species of Hemaris in North Carolina. has arrived ! she was very active on the Koreanspice viburnum .. perhaps when the Butterfly Shrub fills out .. a particular purple flower .. will catch her attention .. and clearer photos will be the result .. had to include the one on the right .. pink under the wing is amazing ..
