.. go away .. I told him .. the Robber Fly is here .. the Skippers all disappeared .. so did the American Lady butterfly .. one wasn't lucky .. the Robber Fly caught a Carpenter Bee .. know it is all part of Nature .. but it really bothered me .. cause I looked up what the Robber Fly does .. guess this is how I felt when I saw the aerial capture of the Carpenter Bee (c) All Rights Reserved *** 2 notes top left *** [ am going drumming tonight - play frame drum with a Folk/Celtic group -- that should help ]

Hawk Moth - Hummingbird Moth - per Pam J - Snowberry Clearwing Moth (Hemaris diffinis) found this is called more than one name - was difficult to detect color on the edges of his wings - never stopped long enough for a good shot - but, he's a 'Lifer' for me, also ** 2 notes ** - cropped/signed only - no enhancement - (c) All Rights Reserved

Tiger Lil' - a Tiger Lily in my Garden of Surprises - ** 2 notes ** no idea who/how she got this name - but, not only Sir Richard -- but others have said - the name isn't right - where are the Tiger Stripes ? spots ... don't believe I've ever seen a Tiger with spots - so, if somebody wants to rename this gal - let me know - but, since she is orange - I'll still call her " Tiger Lil' " ~ (c) All Rights Reserved

- 2 notes Top middle - - have decided [ along with people who know more about birds than I do ] - this is a Blue-gray Gnat catcher - sort of like a small version of a Mockingbird - in feather colors and in song imitation - lots of places online to check him out - even a video of one buzzing a Hawk - only about 4 inches long, most sites say he is a 'hyperactive bird' (c) All Rights Reserved
