sort of -- begins in backyard as a creek -- with heavy rains -- oh, did we ever have them -- thunder as added bonus ! supposed to be under a 'Thunderstorm Watch' -- until 6pm EST (US) -- but, as of 2:16PM ... nothing -- the sun has popped out -- the rains have ceased -- like nothing ever happened -- except, one can follow the trail where the rain came from -- and where it ended -- we have an excellent drainage system -- yes, we are dry -- Nature -- (c) All Rights Reserved

this year - 2014 - Jim Donovan ( one of the founders of Rusted Root ) asked us a question - "What is your word for 2014?" - above are all the words sent to Jim .. mine .. it's in there .. to be used daily .. - from an email sent by JD -- " Some friends and I have been doing this tradition for a couple of years with surprising success and I thought you might be interested in getting in on the fun. Basically, the idea is to come up with just one word... (Yep, only one!) that most sums up what you would like to bring to your life in the new year. Personally, I use my word as a reminder each day through the year just to keep me on track. For example, two years ago my word was "Clear". During that year, I made it a priority each and every day to find ways to improve clarity in my words, intentions and actions. Though it was just one simple word, I found the effects of remembering it each day to be profoundly positive and that my increased clarity carries through with me to this day. I think of it as an easy way to make meaningful change for myself." Jim said to share this -- so, I am -- with all my Friends and those I've yet to meet .. may 2014 be a year you will always remember because of the Good energies you received and gave out.
