- this Osprey chick first seen end of April -- note added -- - really has thrived - seemed like Mom decided - he/or/she could be left for a while - so, off to catch a fish - this is Area1 - nest on top of a light pole - in parking lot - this is at least the 2nd year for this nest - amazing Raptors - hope you find some where you are - it is a treat to look up - and there they are - so many nests this year - have no idea of the number - nor if all have been successful - in hatching the eggs cropped/watermark only in: www.picmonkey.com © All Rights Reserved

went shopping and was putting packages in the car .. looked Up! this magnificent raptor was sitting .. observing .. couldn't tell if any young were in the nest .. quickly flew off after a few minutes .. there is a pond / lake nearby .. time for fishing .. cropped / signed edited in : www.picmonkey.com © All rights reserved

.. on top of a cluster .. of lights at a park .. a nest that we crafted very carefully .. just back from fishing .. there is a smaller bird to the right of the Osprey .. a chick ? .. couldn't maneuver any closer .. had seen some flying overhead spotting fish .. as soon as one is seen, they seem to drop like a rock .. to the lake below .. maybe one day - I'll get that shot ! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osprey www.picmonkey.com © All Rights Reserved
