"Time: 1905, on the eve of the Russian revolutionary Period Place: Anatevka, a small village in Russia " ( from the Playbill) What a way to start a new season - The Gallery Players presented "Fiddler on the Roof"... extremely talented local and area artists pulled off this musical. Can't think of anything that didn't touch me in some way .. either sets, props, orchestra in the pit, dancers, actors ... on and on. This is not an easy musical - I was privileged to be part of a performance of "Fiddler.." many, many years ago. Thank you to all involved .. truly a memorable Matinee. ** location is 'ballpark' ... if you know a more accurate one, please let me know - it will be appreciated **
