Day - 8 - installing irrigation pipes for the garden - new pipes - old cut pipes - large black one with ridges - red wires - connected - found out before irrigation pipes are joined, they must be primed with a purple goo (my term) - when actually put together, a blue glue is used .. so, purple primer & blue glue ! lesson for the day on things you may not have known but now do ! © All Rights Reserved

Christmas Dinner - ..for Senior Orphans was held Dec. 6 th -2009 ..all Seniors were served dinner, dessert & beverages by volunteers from the community ..a local school of dance provided entertainment "Senior Orphans of Polk County was founded over twenty-five years ago to assist those less fortunate. The idea came from attending an organizational meeting of service programs in Polk County. The original goal was to help local, indigent seniors living with no family support and monthly incomes of $400 or less. Today that amount has increased to include those with monthly incomes of $600 or less.
