Mz Hollyhock was host to this bee for at least an hour .. He was there when I went out .. Still there when I came back in .. For all I know, he's is there .. Many hours later .. Watching him go around .. Gathering pollen .. Sometimes in a full circle .. Other times .. He would stop half-way .. And go back where he had been .. Don't see how there is more room for more pollen .. Plus, think he will get airborne .. If bees get drunk off pollen ... Then, there is a Drunken Bee in my yard : ) © All Rights Reserved

of all that is around us .. seeing the details of this Hollyhock .. a special thing .. not only are her petals ruffled .. pollen scattered .. but the center .. it is like pink tendrils .. searching to see what else is out there .. in this World we call Home .. © All Rights Reserved

sky of blue with white puffy thingys .. Stefan (in Germany) used to call them that .. this is the base for my flowers .. Hollyhocks of pink with delicate ruffled skirts .. bright orange (yet a little subtle) Day Lilies .. 14 of them bloomed today~ the flowers do listen when I urge them to bloom .. Carolina Petunias .. and did not include .. Carolina Primrose of yellow .. Poppy of Orange .. Yarrow - both white and yellow ... Spiderwort .. Clematis .. Zinias bursting to open .. Ms Holly Hock (and her sisters) .. She is a volunteer .. Probably a gift from our birds .. Graced us with her presence in 2016 .. So many buds .. Look forward to as many as survive as is possible ..
