Balsam Range Band is from North Carolina - Haywood County - Balsam Range took their name from this, since they all live in the area - Balsam Mountains, are in the mountain region of western North Carolina, United States. The Great Balsams are a subrange of the Blue Ridge Mountains, which in turn are a part of the Appalachian Mountains. [ Wikipedia ] as Buddy said in WUNC interview .. Taken in 2006 - these hills are forever changed by Hurricane Helene the folks we know are ok but so many yet to be found drones are getting into places helicopters can't these are mountain people they are a tough lot but they admit even this is something never seen Cajun Navy is on-site with so many others #NCSTRONG ! Beautiful Memory
