Florida... a stately Pine, near the Intercoastal Waterway has seen many storms and high winds which shaped its branches. The muted brown bark is coarse and irregular, while the limbs, tipped on the ends with fragile looking pine needles, seem to reach out to the sky. A small park on Pineapple Blvd, next to the library is where it was found... Oct. 2009. A pale blue sky with wispy white clouds frames this green soul. Photo was shot next to the trunk.
