has weathered this window frame - the original building was erected in the late 1800s - in 1904, when fire destroyed most of the plant - it was replaced with a brick structure - considering the age of this facility - would consider it well worth re-purposing - know someone who would love to do it - just a little glitch in the way - finances ! he has been in the front area when it was a thrift store - said it has wooden floors .. tall ceilings - this would be nice to 'tour' - The Burlington Coffin Company Burlington NC (it takes up most of the block) (info from Centennial page of Burlington NC) (c) All Rights Reserved Update: as of Feb. 19, 2016 -- this 100,000 sq ft piece of history is being demolished. There are no plans to use that entire city block. New .. but old .. - this front half of a Tribal/Gypzee belt is new for the dancer - but it really is old - recycled .. re-used .. re-purposed - the chain maille effect is from pop-top tabs - this is very labor intensive, but such a nice effect achieved - this work of art imagined/produced by our dance instructor - so, save those pop-top tabs ! - see what you can make - Eco.friendly Dance Troupe ! © All rights reserved
