oh, I know this doesn't even come close to the changing colors many of you see where you live .. but, many people have been heard to say .. "it doesn't change colors in Florida" .. well .. yes it does ! in with the Perennial Peanut plant is an invader/visitor/volunteer .. it has changed color .. ta-da ! yeah, I know it is a stretch .. but walking the yard I looked down .. ''we have Fall .. got to show my friends !'' even though this is a weed of some sort .. I think it is pretty .. somebody .. one of y'all .. told me a "weed is just something you didn't plant " .. © All rights reserved

- kissed by the Florida sun - Duranta ( Golden Mound ) - small lavender flowers are replaced by these globes - poisonous if ingested - but okay for wildlife as best I can find out - just trim carefully - there are thorns on the branches © All rights reserved

The fruit can be anywhere from 3/4ths of an inch long, all the way up to 3 1/2" inches, and have a bluish-green color. The Pineapple Guava tree is a slow growing evergreen that blooms in late spring, and can attract butterflies and birds.
