after swimming a while with his pen .. she went to the other end of the lake .. as she left, he dipped his head in the lake .. when he brought it up .. he stretched and made a noise that sounded like a cough .. oh, well .. later -cropped only © All rights reserved

for the Mute swans .. the cob and pen swim in circles around each other .. pausing to dip their long necks in the lake .. bringing them back up in a beautiful arch .. then, fluff the feathers across their backs more .. continue the courtship swim ..
