found this driving through a local cemetary.. it is a beautiful idea.. both these officers gave the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.. it is fitting this be dedicated to them.. .. there are numerous tributes to these officers on YouTube, but the most heart-rending one is called. ." one of the few markers not hand-chiseled .....look at the dates.........................

..old graveyard at the top of this mountain near Jefferson NC. Best we understand, it had been a family cemetary... it was overgrown; the current owners of the property are trying to identify the markers. Most are hand-chiseled.
