will this be necessary in 2010 after the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico ? I really hope so .. the turtles return to these beaches yearly to lay eggs .. citizens & visitors in the area are responsible to see that they remain undisturbed .. lets hope we must go through the same procedures this year .. it will be a welcome sight to see the areas marked off as containing 'turtle eggs' .. ---do not disturb ---- UPDATE..July 2013 .. very few areas marked re:Sea Turtles egg nests -
