took a detour.. from my usual way... and this beauty welcomed my eyes.. have no idea how many rooms.. a lot.. at least two stories.. maybe a third.. it is fascinating.. somehow, I must see more.. it takes my breath away.. after researching Photo Archives in the Public Library, this seems to be the Clanton Clayton house built in 1912.. © All rights reserved

This historic home is painted in the colors of the period that it was constructed. Note the roof-ceiling over each wrap around porch.. painted blue like the sky. That is standard on these older homes. Yes, this is on a hill ! © All rights reserved
