Of all the varieties of Crepe Myrtle this one is the last to bloom here love watching when the white ones begin then on to several other varieties and now My Turn ! to have it quieter, here ? I am the resident Hibiscus, you do realize, I hope.. Oh, the things I have to put up with that yellow thing (bees night & day).. those small, bunched up pinkish things... oh... not my style ! Understand you can't always fix things, but ask the lady next door (I know she is nice).. Stop planting other colors! crepe myrtle still blooming.. one partially finished.. tips of a palm frond.. reaching into an already cloudy sky..

lantanas attract butterflies... but, not when you are waiting for them.. my neighbor brought several dozen back from her son's home... released in her yard.. have I gotten a photo yet .. of course not ! they are beautiful.. look like dark velvet with carefully spaced spots on their wings... if I must camp out to get a photo, so be it ! .. think this is the correct name.. three pale pink Rain lilies keep watch over a crepe myrtle.. full of buds.. full of promise.. the lilies are a bonus.. a volunteer plant that looks so delicate, yet comes back every year.. to stand watch.. © All rights reserved
