.. a car pulled up next to me in the parking lot at this lake in Florida .. as the lady got out, she said -"you'll get some good photos in a few minutes" .. it was all I could do not to laugh as she fed the very vocal goose .. carrying on a conversation with him (c) All Rights Reserved

.. this is my road, buster .. you can just wait .. got to decide which way I want to go .. this is one of my favorite places to photograph waterbirds; usually it is sunny with an awesome Florida blue sky .. but this evening, the skies had dumped a frog strangler on us all, including this goose who was not about to be hurried - regardless of how many vehicles were waiting in both directions .. and we waited .. great time for a goose portrait, even if he did seem a bit upset! ^SOOC All Rights Reserved

.. headed straight for the car .. get back inside (protection from advancing geese) .. there were about 14 adults and 5 goslings .. the entire time there, at least one goose had me in the cross-hairs! © All rights reserved

goose on left carries herself regally .. the one on the right, just a walk to the lake .. don't know, but would guess, the left one was female... okay, now...have at it.. tell me how way off base I am ! Quack Watch.. © All rights reserved
