oh, the things you can find. when you go hunting in your own yard! Whatever type of wild mushroom/fungus this is, it popped up overnight! Allmost thought it looked like a catchers glove until I got closer. Then, to me, it became prehistoric... thus its name! it seems that something has eaten part of this unusual shaped fungus... guess they could stand the odor...

from the age of the dinosauers.. ....these mushrooms appeared in the yard overnight. This is the second day.. they seem to spread apart on the edges giving a fringed look. Also, they smelled bad! Florida (c) All Rights Reserved
